ABOUT
Lauren Michelle Rose (they/she/he) is a theatre artist currently based in Queens. Lauren started acting in middle school playing such iconic roles as water in The Little Mermaid, and the magic carpet in Aladdin. Since then, Lauren's passion for all aspects of theatre has continued to grow. In addition to acting, they have also worked as a director, stage manager, light designer/technician, and playwright.

Lauren graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2024 with a B.A. in acting and directing. While they were there they also worked as a technical assistant where they discovered an interest in lighting. In their final semester at UNH, Lauren performed as Silvius in As You Like It, directed a touring children's show, and designed lights for A Little Night Music. Since graduating, Lauren has continued to discover new parts of theatre that they enjoy. The summer after graduation Lauren worked as a stage manager for two shows at Hackmatack Playhouse, Into the Woods and Little Women.

Currently Lauren has been focused mainly on acting. They have discovered a love of working on original plays and have been lucky enough to perform in 3 new works in the past years as well as one staged reading. Most recently Lauren performed in Cabin by the Lake with Script Club NYC and Elements; a genre bending war play featuring famous faces and Gwyneth Paltrow with Ghostlight Theatre Company. Lauren hopes to continue working on new plays in the future.
